It amplifies forms of body usage and finds out its' application as the expression means. The dissertation points on abstract expression opportunities usable for personal and social development of the authors. The findings and conclusions are based on the long term experiences at the field of dance training and are confronted with the own experiences and practical usage. Improvisation and Creativity in Dance and Movement Education in Primary School

The goal of this thesis is to remind the importance of the two selected categories of the educational content of the subject of dance and movement education in primary school: improvisation and creativity, their conception and implementation in education. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part firstly deals with dance based on movement - the most natural activity of everyone. Then, the subject of dance and movement education is introduced together with its characteristics. The following chapters describe the importance of improvisation and creativity in dance and movement education. The practical part consists of a qualitative research of which the main aim was to find out how improvisation and creativity are being fulfilled in practice. The research was realized using the method of participating observation. That part also presents its results.
Dance and movement education as a new field in the Framework education programme for primary education

The bachelor thesis Dance and Movement Education as a New Field in the Framework Education Programme for Primary Education attends to characterization of dance and movement education as a field. It considers its embodiment in primary education's curriculum, defines its educational goals and field content and adverts to its contribution for education of primary schools' students. In the first part the Framework Education Programme and its development are introduced. The second part considers the dance and movement education outside the context of Framework Education Programme for Primary Education, provides information of basic principles and activities. The third and fundamental part consists of dance and movement education within the purview of Framework Education Programme for Primary Education. The goals and competences developed by dance and movement education are defined in more detail. Mutual goal and content interconnectiveness to other educational fields is emphasized. The thesis comes to a conclusion that dance and movement education as a new field of primary education can provide a suitable room for versatile development of students' personalities and hence help to fulfill the main goals of primary education.
The importance of dance and movement in the education of children in middle school age

This master's thesis is based on the specifics of physiological development in middle childhood and searches for the pupil's natural behaviour at this stage. It begs the question as to why movement is so important for the human being and what role locomotion plays in having good postural habits. It highlights the magnitude of movement for child development and shows that physical activity is an inseparable part of our lives. The third chapter is about dance which is perceived as one of the oldest forms of human art. I look for displays of dance in everyday life and describe the particularities of expression in dance in middle childhood. Finally, I highlight the benefits and its educational dimension, values, and use. The following chapter talks about dance and movement education as a supplementary education field and its implementation in the FEP. The practical part describes an application of five dance lessons. These lessons were taught by a pedagogue who had no previous experience with teaching dance and movement activities. The main reason for this decision was that, in the future, a pedagogue could teach the lessons regardless of their past practice with dance and movement education. Dance and movement education of the first degree of the primary school

: Diploma thesis deals with complementary educational field of dance and movement education to the first stage of primary school. The main objective is to find out expierences from the pilot programmes established dance and movement education. In the theoretical part explainig the basic concepts- movement, dance and its contribution to human deveploment and explains the meaning of dance and movement education as an educational provider. Due to specification the first stage is one of the sections devoted to problems of primary school age. In text is also mapped legislative process and promoting the concept introduction of dance and movement education, and its finally grounded in the Framework educational programme for basic education. Deals in detail with the concept of dance and movement education, its educational content, features and goals. Finally, it addresses the problem of teacher competency of the subject. The research part of current knowledge and experience of the five-year cycle teaching of subject in pilot elementary school Prague 5- Slivenec through questinnaires for the first (imput) and the fifth (output) class. It describes the current status of efforts to learn the dance and movement education in elementary schools.
